Frequently Asked Questions

What is Home Watch?

Home Watch is a scheduled, in-person visual check of an unoccupied home. The purpose is to look for obvious signs of problems or changes, document observations and notify the homeowner when something needs attention.

Why do I need Home Watch if I have an alarm system?

An alarm system and Home Watch serve different purposes. Your alarm may detect or report certain events, depending on its equipment and settings. A Home Watch visit adds a physical presence: we enter the property and visually check the areas included in your agreed checklist.

Home Watch complements your existing security arrangements; it does not replace them.

How often can you visit?

Visit frequency is agreed upon based on your property, travel dates, preferences and service availability. Options may include monthly, twice-monthly or weekly visits, with other arrangements considered where practical.

Your schedule and included services will be confirmed before service begins.
